TODAY’S PBR BUCKING BATTLE– Does anyone (including the PBR & CBS!) know correct broadcast schedule??

I can’t believe how these people can’t get their shit together to tell us correct broadcast times. (The PBR website has been wrong about re-broadcast times several times in the past.)

Previously, according to the PBR website, the Greensboro 15/15 supposedly was scheduled for 1-2 pm EST today on CBS (regular TV). PBR email I got today says 3 or 5 pm, check local listings. PBR website now says 3 pm CBS, 7 pm NBC Sports. (I assume the 7 pm is a re-broadcast.) I just checked CBS & CBS Sports schedule on their website(s). NO mention of it on regular CBS TV site. CBSSports website says 5-6 pm EST.

There is no excuse for this crap. Either you’re a professional organization or you’re not. Don’t tell me the PBR doesn’t have a contract with CBS, CBS Sports, NBC, and NBC Sports spelling out SOME kind of schedule?? If they don’t, they need new lawyers.

It’s somewhat understandable (but not much) if a major league football game goes into overtime and runs into the PBR event broadcast time. But it is NOT understandable how their own website can be so WRONG so many times. Getting a last minute email about what time the event is on is NOT helpful to those of us who have lives, and would like to know when an event REALLY is on so we don’t miss it. Maybe the PBR should pay for me to have Tivo, considering how much free publicity I give them.

To some bull riding fans, the PBR home stretch is just as important as any football game, and it is just infuriating (not to mention stupid) that they can’t do better than this about keeping the information straight. If CBSSports or NBCSports are constantly jerking them around with scheduling, again, the PBR needs to GET BETTER LAWYERS. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten wrong scheduling information from the CBR, or at least very rarely.

I guess I’ll be tuning into GAC more often.

WE’VE GIVEN UP TRYING TO FIND THE PBR ON TV. IT’S NEVER ON WHEN THEY SAY IT WILL BE OR IT’S ON A PAY CHANNEL. I’VE ADDED ENOUGH CABLE CHANNELS EACH TIME THEY CHANGE THEIR MINDS, NOT GOING TO DO IT AGAIN. WHEN CHRIS SHIVERS RETIRES, WE’LL QUIT CARING.

I set my recordings up on Thur and they correspond to the email and what the website said then. This may just confuse you more, but I get both east and west coast network channels and live on the west coast. So, on my west coast channel the 15/15 comes on at noon (3pm ET) and on the east coast channel it comes on at 2pm (5pm ET). Round 2, which took place yesterday, comes on at 4pm (7pm ET) and again at 9pm (12am ET) on NBCSports.
CBSSports website schedule doesn’t correspond with what the actual channel says for several items, their problem.

My Tivo is telling me that the 15/15 event is on at 3:00 on CBS and the second round is on from 7:00-9:00 on NBS Sports channel. (I have Cablevision) If you click on the little rectangular red box that says TV schedule on PBR homepage you get a list of accurate times and channels for the events. So far it’s been correct all season……with the exception of some late starts due to other sporting events finishing up.
